Come aboard Schooner Zodiac for a voyage of discovery to San Juan Island and taste the bounty of beverages brewed, fermented and distilled there! This four-day, three-night tour leaves plenty of time for sailing and exploring the islands in addition to “hooch” focused shore visits. During our adventure the Zodiac will make a Port of Call to Friday Harbor to visit San Juan Cellars’ tasting room located in the Cannery Landing Building on the waterfront and also San Juan Island Brewing Co.’s brand new brew pub facility with a tasting flight at both.

The Zodiac will also visit historic Roche Harbor located on the North side of San Juan Island and passengers will be treated to a tour of nearby Westcott Bay’s Cidery and Distillery. After enjoying the tastings, it is encouraged to purchase a bottle or growler of these fine beverages to imbibe later in the evening while the Zodiac rides gently at anchor in a secluded inlet.

Throughout the cruise the Zodiac will explore the exquisite San Juan Islands under the power of her four sails and passengers can learn “the ropes” and basic navigation with the crew’s instruction and take turns steering the ship under the Captain’s supervision. Hiking, kayaking, delicious meals from the galley and tranquil stargazing are part of the Schooner Zodiac experience and this cruise is no exception.

“What an adventure! This is a hands-on experience! Duty rotations include chart room, helm, bow watch and messenger. And everyone helps to raise the sails. The captain and all-volunteer crew are fun and ever-watchful over their charges. No surprise here…good food and plenty of it for very hungry people….”
