The cruise is structured so passengers have the option of learning sailing stations, the basics of navigating, steering the ship and standing watch. By the end of the trip passengers can feel that they are a part of the crew.

Each night will be spent riding gently at anchor in a secluded inlet of the San Juan Islands and each day will be filled with adventures of interactive sailing, exploring the islands by hiking or paddling a kayak along the shoreline.

“Our 3-day trip through the San Juan islands was absolutely fantastic! Considering the very brisk winds on day 1, and also how important passenger involvement is for hoisting and dousing the enormous sails, I was extremely impressed with how much we actually sailed (rather than motoring). This is no boring leisure cruise — it is an adventure!’
