Retrace the steps of Fransisco de Eliza, George Vancouver and Charles Wilkes as you sail throughout the San Juan Islands searching for some of the Pacific Northwest’s best beer. The San Juan Islands are home to excellent breweries, distilleries and pubs. Join the Zodiac as we visit  Island Hoppin’ Brewery on Orcas Island and the brand new San Juan Island Brewing Co. brew pub in Friday Harbor! Passengers will be treated to a tasting flight at each brewery and it’s encouraged to fill a growler to enjoy on board the Zodiac while she rides gently at anchor each evening.

This year we will be joined by the staff from Bellingham’s own Kulshan Brewing who will be our beer “sherpas”, guiding us on our journey through the craft beer world. Hopefully they’ll bring along some of their wonderful brews for tasting as well!

While on your expedition you’ll learn to sail a historic tall ship to each destination under the supervision of experienced crew.  There is no shortage of beer and fun on this voyage of  discovery!

Part of the adventure of sailing is that wind and tide may alter your course. For this reason the Zodiac may deviate from it’s intended route at the captain’s discretion.
